In the midst of the promotion race, 1. FC Magdeburg is already planning for the new season and has now extended the contract of defender Daniel Heber. The 30-year-old, who has been with FCM since January 2023 and has made 81 appearances for the second division club since then, will therefore remain available to the club for the coming season. According to head coach Christian Titz, the German-Ghanaian has “developed into an important cornerstone,” which is a good sign for the club. The current fifth-placed team did not disclose how long the new contract is valid for.
