On Monday, TSG Hoffenheim parted ways with head coach Pellegrino Matarazzo, with Christian Ilzer being considered as a successor. The 47-year-old is currently on the sidelines at Sturm Graz, where he has also worked with TSG managing director Andreas Schicker. Ilzer can apparently imagine following him to TSG, as he revealed to the “Kleine Zeitung”: “This constellation with Andi Schicker as sporting director, an exciting team in Hoffenheim and the opportunities there combined with how Sturm is currently doing could tip the scales for me for the first time. There is no right time, but the moment seems good.”
