Inter Milan – Udinese betting tip, prediction & odds 30/03/2025

Serie A, Sunday, 30/03/2025 at 6:00 PM

Will the old Italian champions soon be the new ones too? Inter Milan are leading the competition, but they still have some tough pursuers. Home games against teams from the midfield should therefore be a safe bet for the black and blues.

On Sunday, the hosts are once again the clear favorites, which is not surprising. In my Inter Milan vs. Udinese betting tip, I will now tell you why it might be closer than expected and I predict: home win with under 4.5 goals!

Will it be Inter Milan and SSC Napoli who ultimately decide the championship between themselves? There are currently three points between the two top clubs, with Atalanta Bergamo already six points behind the leaders.

Inter themselves ensured that there are currently only two teams at the top before the international break. In the top-of-the-table clash against Atalanta, they took home a 2-0 lead; it was one of those victories that is almost more valuable than just three points.

Before that, the league leaders had also faltered a little, taking only three wins from six games. 1-1 against Milan, 0-1 against Juventus and 1-0 against Napoli, the strong competition gave the Nerazzurri a hard time.

Now it’s time to continue the home series. With six wins and a draw, Inter are currently in the San Siro. But we have to look a little closer to see that their performances have not always been so convincing.

3:2 against bottom-of-the-league Monza, 1:0 against FC Genoa, 2:1 against Fiorentina, 3:1 against Empoli, 2:2 against Bologna, the fans definitely couldn’t complain about a lack of excitement.

Only once, in August, did Inter manage to win at home by more than two goals. In the most recent 3-2 win against Como, the team even came back from a 2-0 deficit.

The 1-0 win over Genoa? Thanks to a Lautaro Martinez header with just over ten minutes left on the clock.

And in the 2-1 win over Fiorentina, an own goal helped. So you see: when Inter play at home, the result is never a foregone conclusion.

Very interesting: in seven of the last eight games, the reigning champions did not go into half-time with a lead. This is actually an ideal opportunity to poach from Winamax for the weekend. If you bet on “Double Chance X2” at half-time, you will get odds of 1.80.

I can’t avoid talking about Inter’s personnel now. Martinez, who was just mentioned, will be out injured on Sunday, and Marcus Thuram is also facing a forced break.

The duo has scored 24 league goals together, and it would be incredibly bitter if neither of them were involved. Denzel Dumfries is third among the top scorers (with six goals).

What’s going on with him? That’s right, he’s also out of action and won’t be back until April! With Piotr Zielinski and Stefan de Vrij, the sick bay is growing, so Inter have to replace some stars.

On the other hand, a look at the history is consistently positive. Eight of the last nine duels against Udinese have been won, and in the last ten years or so there have only been two defeats.

2:0, 4:0, 3:1, 2:0, 1:0, 1:0? No, Inter have not conceded many goals in their recent home games. If you therefore want to bet on a home win to nil, Betano offers you odds of 2.15.

Udinese Calcio are well aware that their upcoming opponents are not welcome. After six unbeaten games, three of which they won, the little zebras recently suffered another defeat.
They lost 0-1 to Hellas Verona, which was not part of the plan. After a home defeat, do they regularly lose away from home as well? In fact, that has only happened once in 2024/25, and that was back in November.

Since mid-November, Udinese have only lost once on the road, which is an impressive feat. It is curious that this defeat came at the less strong club of Como. Both in Naples and at Lazio, a 1-1 draw was achieved in the last game.

Udine have already gone four away games unbeaten this season, a streak that could be continued at the weekend. Did they already get beaten by the best in the country?

They were beaten 3-0 by AS Roma in September, but they have not lost by more than two goals to other top teams. In the last twelve rounds, they have only been behind at half-time once.

The title defense is not a sure thing for Inter Milan. The reigning champions have to work hard and have only managed narrow home wins in recent weeks – but at least they have distanced Atalanta Bergamo.

With Udinese Calcio, a favorite opponent is coming to the San Siro, but the little zebras have not sold themselves so badly lately. They also managed to take a point from both Napoli and Lazio, drawing 1-1 in each game.

On balance, I think the home side will come out on top, but since their top scorers are missing through injury, I’m expecting a “dirty win” rather than a rout. So my tip is:

Inter win with a maximum of four goals!
