Alexander Isak (25) is missing from Newcastle’s Asian tour and will not be joining the team. The striker, officially suffering from a minor injury, wants to leave the Magpies according to consistent media reports – preferably to Liverpool FC. The Reds are expected to step up their efforts to sign Isak, who is also being courted by Al-Hilal, following the sale of Luis Diaz to Bayern Munich. However, Newcastle are reportedly only willing to enter talks for a fee of around €170 million.
