Serie A, Monday, 03/03/2025 at 8:45 p.m.
The series of eternal draws is over! Juventus Turin has finally played its way into a really strong series. If the chase for points continues, there could even be a small push towards the championship again.
If you believe the bookmakers, nothing can go wrong at home on Monday. That’s why, in my Juventus Hellas Verona betting tip, I’ll tell you exactly why I agree without hesitation and am betting on a home win with a maximum of four goals.
If you’ve only lost once after 26 rounds, you should actually be in with a chance of winning the title, shouldn’t you? Juventus Turin are eight points behind the leaders, because this crazy 2024/25 season has already produced some curiosities.
The Bianconeri have a proud 13 draws to their name, which is truly unmatched. Between the end of November and mid-January, there were seven draws in eight matchdays, which is unbeatable.
And so it came about that, even before the calendar turned to February, not a single three-game winning streak could be achieved. What’s more, the Old Lady was knocked out of the Champions League play-offs by Eindhoven.
But the month of February belongs entirely to Juventus Turin. After a 4-1 win against Empoli, they won 2-1 in Como, went into the game against champions and leaders Inter Milan strengthened – and won 1-0!
Juve extended their series to four wins with the following 1-0 against Cagliari. Does it matter that the last three have been very close? All that counts is getting the points to get into the top flight.
Nine of the twelve wins, that’s definitely interesting, were without conceding a goal. So if you see a clean sheet for Monday, you would get odds of 1.87 at Betano.
Is there a fundamental home advantage? Juve are the only team not to have lost at home yet, which sounds very positive. They have recently won three home games in a row, which is a new record this season.
In my opinion, it is also interesting that there has only been a lead at half-time four times. So does the “double chance X2” after 45 minutes make sense on Monday? In terms of odds, it certainly does, because 2.00 is possible here.
In Serie A, things are going really well at the moment, but perhaps a setback in another competition has ensured that the current streak could be broken – namely, elimination in the cup!
A 1-1 draw against Empoli meant that it went to penalties, Dusan Vlahovic and Kenan Yildiz couldn’t keep their nerves in check, while the guests scored with every shot – and were out in no time.
The elimination in the Champions League a few days ago did not affect the performance in the league, which is exactly what the fans are hoping for now. Hellas Verona is an opponent they have only lost to three times since 2000!
The last home defeat? That was in 1963. So, a unique record, in the first half of the season, the Bianconeri had won 3-0. 17 wins and a draw, the domestic statistics also look good.
So it’s easy to explain that the average odds at our PayPal betting providers range from 1.30 to 10.5. Hellas Verona are in 14th place and have already lost 16 times.
Draw? The result that Juve would love to see has only happened twice here. The Scaligeri surprised recently with a 1-0 win over Fiorentina, their first home win since early November.
I can’t really put a label on this team. Whether it’s a 3-2 win at Bologna, a CL contender, 0-5 against Atalanta Bergamo, 1-1 against relegation candidates Venezia or 3-2 against Roma, you have to be ready for anything here.
Two of their last six away games were lost, that doesn’t sound bad. 0-1 against Milan and 0-2 against Napoli? It happens to the best of them! Unfortunately, with 54 goals conceded, the defense stands out to me.
Hellas has the worst defense in Serie A, although at the same time there have already been five clean sheets, which is curious! It’s also interesting to note that after each clean sheet, they have conceded at least two goals – will it be the same this time?
How will Juventus Turin cope after being knocked out of the cup? After doing so well in the league for a few weeks now, their defeat against Empoli was all the more surprising. It’s a good thing, then, that they’re now facing their nemesis.
Nothing can really go wrong against Hellas Verona, especially at home. Since the guests have already lost 16 times, my home win tip is quickly decided. The Bianconeri tend to hold back on scoring sprees.
Although Hellas don’t defend well, there haven’t been more than four goals in this duel in Serie A since 1996. So I’ve decided on the following tip:
Juve win with a maximum of four goals!
