The Laver Cup 2025 schedule: Dates & times

The format
The Laver Cup format is as follows: A total of 12 matches will be played, nine in singles and three in doubles. There will be three singles and one doubles match per day on each of the three days of play.
Each player will compete in one or two singles matches, and at least four of the six players will compete in doubles – with each pairing only allowed to play once.
Each match is played in a best-of-three format. If the first two sets are tied, there will be a match tie-break (to 10).
Points are awarded as follows: Each day, one extra point is awarded for a win. This means that wins on day 1 (Friday) earn one point. Victories on day 2 (Saturday) earn two points, and each victory on the third day (Sunday) is worth three points.
If the score is 12:12 after all matches, two doubles pairs will play a match tie-break to determine the overall winner.
Where will the 2025 Laver Cup be broadcast?
The 2025 Laver Cup will be broadcast live on two channels in Germany.

The sports streaming service has integrated Eurosport into its live program. This means that the Laver Cup 2025 will also be livestreamed via the DAZN app.
Laver Cup players & participants: Who will play in 2025?
Who are the participants in the Laver Cup 2025? Who will play for “Team Europe” and “Team World”?
The teams consist of six players each and a pre-determined team captain. Three players from each team qualify based on their ATP singles rankings. The other three players are selected by the captain.
The captain of Team Europe is Yannick Noah (FRA), and the captain of Team World is Andre Agassi (USA).
Laver Cup 2025 Players Team Europe
- Carlos Alcaraz (ESP/1)
- Alexander Zverev (GER/3)
- Hoger Rune (DEN/11)
- Caspar Ruud (NOR/12)
- Jakub Mensik (CZE/17)
- Tomas Machac (CZE/22)
- Falvio Cobolli (ITA/25)

Laver Cup 2025 Players Team World

- Francisco Cerundolo (ARG/21)
- Alex Michelsen (USA/32)
- Joao Fonseca (BRA/42)
- Reilly Opelka (USA/62)
- Jenson Brooksby (USA/86)
- Captain: Andre Agassi
Team Europe is led by world number one Carlos Alcaraz (Spain). With Alexander Zverev ranked No. 3 in the ATP rankings, there is a second top 10 player in the European squad. Also included are Holger Rune (DEN) and Caspar Ruud (NOR), who are ranked 11th and 12th in the world.
Prominent absentees from the Laver Cup 2025 participant list are Jannik Sinner (ITA) and Novak Djokovic (SRB). The duo has decided to take a break.
Europe also has three very young Laver Cup participants in its squad: the two Czech talents Jakub Mensik and Tomas Machac, as well as Italy’s shooting star Flavio Cobolli.
The “Rest of the World” team is led by US star Taylor Fritz, ranked fifth in the world. Other Laver Cup 2024 players for the “Rest of the World” team include Australia’s Alex de Minaur (ATP No. 8), Argentina’s Francisco Cerundolo, and Brazil’s top talent Joao Fonseca.
But the “World Team” also has three prominent absentees who do not appear on the list of Laver Cup 2025 participants. Ironically, the three US stars Ben Shelton, Frances Tiafoe, and Tommy Paul (have to) sit out.
As always, the players who will compete in the singles and doubles will be decided shortly before the start of the match. The nominations will be determined by both team captains at short notice.

Team World or Team Europe: Who is the favorite?
Given the world rankings in singles, Team Europe is clearly the favorite in the Laver Cup 2025 forecast before the first serve. This is also confirmed by the forecasts of sports betting providers.
Carlos Alcaraz, who recently won the US Open, not only leads the European team, but also tops the world rankings. With Zverev ranked third in the world, Europe also has the second-best player in the ATP rankings on the 2025 Laver Cup participant list.
Although Team World also has two top 10 players in its squad in Taylor Fritz and Alex de Minaur, the European team is better positioned at the back of the field – if you take the world rankings as a reference. All Europeans on the 2025 Laver Cup schedule are ranked in the top 30.
Incidentally, five of the seven editions of the Laver Cup since 2017 have gone to Europe. This was also the case last year, albeit by a very narrow margin of 13:11.
