Lazio Rome has prematurely extended the contract with keeper Christos Mandas until June 30, 2029. The 23-year-old has been playing for the Laziali since the summer of 2023, but so far the Greek has not been able to get past first-choice keeper Ivan Provedel. In the long term, however, Mandas is believed to be capable of following in the footsteps of the Uruguayan. Mandas was a regular in various Greek junior national teams, and in the summer of 2024 he made his debut in the senior national team.
