After some back and forth in recent weeks, RB Leipzig has now made it official: Ole Werner (37) will be the new coach of the Saxony club and has signed a contract until 2027. He will be joined in Leipzig by his assistants Patrick Kohlmann and Tom Cichon, with whom he already worked at Werder Bremen. RB will pay a transfer fee of up to two million euros to Werder, where Werner was under contract until 2026 but had already been dismissed.
