Sean Longstaff has played for Newcastle United between 2009 and 2025, with the exception of a one-year loan spell at Blackpool FC. Now the Magpies and the 27-year-old midfielder, who has mostly come off the bench since Sandro Tonali’s return, are parting ways. Longstaff is now moving to Premier League newcomers Leeds United, where he has signed a four-year contract.
