The Danish second division club Lyngby BK has filled its coaching position after the separation from Morten Karlsen in September – with a duo. Mikkel Jespersen (34), most recently assistant coach at Mainz 05 under Bo Henriksen, takes up the position together with Andreas Bjelland (37). “We have thought a lot, drunk a lot of coffee and talked to good people at home and abroad as well as in the clubhouse in recent months, and we believe that we have found the right solution for us with the combination of Andreas Bjelland and Mikkel Jespersen,” sporting director Nicas Kjeldsen is quoted as saying. Lyngby is the leader in Denmark’s lower house at the winter break.
