Alexander Nollenberger has extended his contract with 1. FC Magdeburg ahead of schedule. The 27-year-old winger moved from SpVgg Bayreuth to the second division club in the summer of 2023 and has made 19 appearances so far this season, with Nollenberger always starting in the last six games. “He is a prime example of how you can achieve constant improvements with a positive attitude, tireless commitment and a strong will – and thus work your way into the team,” said Sports Director Otmar Schork in a club statement, expressing his delight at the extension of the contract.
