1. FC Magdeburg will play the rest of the second half of the season without striker Aleksa Marusic. On Wednesday, the fourth-placed team in the second division announced that the 25-year-old Montenegrin player would be loaned to Moldovan record champions FC Sheriff Tiraspol. Marusic made three brief appearances in the 2nd division and one in the DFB Cup during his six months with FCM.
