1. FC Schweinfurt have strengthened their defense once again. Thomas Meißner, who was under contract with North Macedonian first division club FK Gostivar until June, is returning to his youth club. The 33-year-old played 58 times in the 2nd Bundesliga for Hansa Rostock and MSV Duisburg. He also played 67 games in the Eredivisie for ADO Den Haag and Willem II Tilburg.
