A few months before the World Cup, Morocco’s successful coach Walid Regragui has apparently resigned from his post. According to a “L’Equipe” report, the coach handed in his resignation shortly after the lost Africa Cup of Nations final in his own country against Senegal in January. According to the report, those responsible had subsequently tried to change his mind. Regragui’s successor is to be Mohamed Ouahbi, who won the World Cup with Morocco’s U20s in October.
