Richard Neudecker, who was operated on this week because of adductor problems, has been missing from 1. FC Saabrücken since the winter break. It is questionable whether the central midfielder will play again this season. In view of his contract expiring in the summer, however, he will become a noble fan in the stands. As he revealed on “MagentaSport”, his contract will be automatically extended if he is promoted. Neudecker moved from 1860 Munich to the Saarland club in the summer of 2022, and the 28-year-old has made 15 appearances so far this season.
