MSV Duisburg’s transfer offensive enters the next round. As the relegated third division side announced on Tuesday afternoon, Jannik Zahmel is moving to the Wedau. The 21-year-old winger was most recently under contract with VfL Osnabrück, but was loaned out to northern regional league side BW Lohne in the 2023/24 season. Instead of returning to Bremer Brücke, Zahmel is now joining the Zebras permanently. “Jannik is a very quick and determined player. He is trained on the attacking wing, where he has a real weapon with his pace. We are looking forward to a young player who played a very good season in Lohne, but still has a lot of development potential and wants to take the next step with us,” said squad planner Chris Schmoldt.
