However, rookie Tyler Shough has gained a lot of confidence since then and led New Orleans to four wins in a row – the franchise’s longest streak since Drew Brees was in the pocket!
In the end, however, I still bet on the Falcons: Their dominant running game, Kirk Cousins’ solid game control and a nimble defense, which MVP candidate Stafford “intercepted” three times last week, should be the deciding factor.

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Cleveland Browns Tip, 04.01.2026 Prediction
The Bengals prevail in this game in the end, but on the other side, Myles Garrett continues to chase an important record: With 22 sacks, he is only one away from the NFL record.
He currently has a mini slump, only 0.5 sacks in the last two weeks. But he will get chances against Cincinnati – Burrow has been shooting 40 times per game since his return. Thus, Cincy is currently very pass-heavy.
In the end, I’m betting on a historic moment on Sunday, which looks like this: Garrett equals the NFL record for Sacks in one season, but in the end Cleveland still loses.

Houston Texans vs. Indianapolis Colts Betting Tip, 04/01/2026 Prediction
The Texans’ strong defense usually keeps their opponents under 20 points – in six of eight games. The Colts, on the other hand, are currently on a six-game losing streak and have stayed below the 20-point mark five times.
So now a weakening offense meets a defense that hardly allows any points. Houston is even fighting for the division crown, while the Colts, who have already been eliminated, fall back on rookie Riley Leonard, who will play his first NFL opening game ever.
Leonard could provide some tension with the help of Jonathan Taylor and the Indy defense, but against the strong Texans defense, that’s barely enough for four full quarters.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Tennessee Titans Prediction, 04.01.2026 Prediction
Trevor Lawrence has really picked up speed since Thanksgiving: 16 touchdowns with just one turnover in five games. After a weak first few months under Liam Coen, he is now playing the best football of his career.
Jacksonville is on the verge of securing the AFC South thanks to him – a win against a three-win team at home could also help “Trevs” turn the tide!
His season, which resembles a wild roller coaster ride, now seems to be finally tipping in the direction he wants, and you can tell: At the moment he is at the peak of his playing skills.
My tip: Jaguars -13.5 at Bet-at-Home.
Minnesota Vikings vs. Green Bay Packers Prediction, 04.01.2026 Prediction
Packers coach Matt LaFleur recently announced that although Jordan Love could play, third QB Clayton Tune will be preferred on Sunday instead. Green Bay’s backup Malik Willis is also out with shoulder problems.
Tune debuted last week, but it didn’t go well at all. Green Bay’s persistent bad luck with injuries has already led to three defeats in a row and thus secured the seventh seed.
Minnesota, on the other hand, is in strong form with four wins in a row, Brian Flores’ defense even allows an average of only 10.8 points per game. So the “Purple People Eaters” should not let that be taken away from them.

New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys, 04.01.2026 Prediction
In Week 2, both teams delivered one of the most exciting games of the year: a 40-37 victory for the Cowboys in overtime.
If Brian Schottenheimer lets Dak Prescott and other key players play the entire game, CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens could deliver enough big plays to keep the Giants in check and drive up the score.
Nevertheless, Jaxson Dart should not be underestimated. If New York continues to go full throttle and Dallas slows down, he could well keep up. However, I hardly trust the Giants, except against the weakest teams in the league.

Buffalo Bills vs. New York Jets Prediction, 01/04/2026 Prediction
The Bills scored a commanding 30-10 victory over their upcoming opponent in Week 2, giving New York the first of eight losses this season by a 13-point or more point difference – a league high.
Can Brady Cook and his team make the game closer this time if the Bills rest Josh Allen and other key players before the playoffs? Maybe.
But one thing remains unchanged: I don’t trust the Jets to win over the Bills again, even in the best case!

Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions Prediction, 04.01.2026 Prediction
Both teams go into the season finale after narrow defeats in Week 17: Detroit is out of the playoffs, but wants to end the season at least with an away win.
To do this, they have to avoid losing the ball, as they did recently, and rely on their running game with Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery again. In Week 2, they ran Chicago by 177 yards, but the running game has been inconsistent too often since then.
Detroit is 8-1 if they reach more than 100 rushing yards, 0-7 if they reach less. Chicago is still the better team at the moment, but Week 18 games can sometimes be unpredictable.
Detroit is fighting for a conciliatory conclusion, the Bears for bigger goals. In the end, I bet on the host in a rather close game.

Denver Broncos vs. Los Angeles Chargers Prediction, 04.01.2026 Prediction
I think the Broncos are real Super Bowl contenders, which makes the game against Trey Lance at home with what’s at stake for them a clear pick for me.
The last Super Bowl winners without “bye” had experienced quarterbacks, something Denver can’t boast with Bo Nix, who still has little playoff experience. That’s exactly why the top seed in the AFC is so important for the franchise.
Sean Payton knows better than anyone how valuable rest and preparation are. An extra week can be crucial for this young team. I am confident that Denver will finish the regular season strong and fulfill its tasks.

Las Vegas Raiders vs. Kanas City Chiefs Bet, 04.01.2026 Prediction
In an alternate parallel universe where things would have been “normal”, I would trust the Raiders to win in Week 18, while the Chiefs are resting for the playoffs as usual.
In the harsh reality of the 2025 season, however, two completely disappointing teams meet. Since week 9 they have been together at 1-16.
Despite everything, Kansas City looks better than the record: Top 10 offense according to EPA, solid defense and eight narrow losses. The Raiders, on the other hand, are historically bad, with a catastrophic points differential. No matter which quarterbacks play – I prefer to stay with the Chiefs.

Los Angeles Rams vs. Arizona Cardinals Betting Tip, 04/01/2026 Prediction
Sean McVay lets his starters play in week 18 – and rightly so. The Rams have been looking unclean for weeks: many points allowed, too many turnovers.
With Arizona, however, the perfect opponent for them is visiting. The Cardinals have been completely out of the game for months and have already been clearly beaten by L.A.
If the starters stay on it long enough, the Rams should control the game. There is only a real risk to the success of my bet if McVay rotates too early.
My tip: Rams -7.5 at Interwetten.
New England Patriots vs. Miami Dolphins Prediction, 04.01.2026 Prediction
There is a lot at stake for New England: 1st place is possible, but so is a slide to 3rd place. In addition, there are two serious topics off the pitch, which revolve around a Stefon Diggs and Christian Barmore.
Both should still play, even if Barmore was absent during the week due to illness. However, it is unclear how long the Patriots will really use their starters – which is exactly what makes the game difficult for sports betting fans to assess.
Miami has become unpleasant in the second half of the season, winning five of the last seven games and most recently surprising Tampa. The running game works better, the penalties imposed on them have become rarer and the defense forces significantly more turnovers.
Quinn Ewers remains a factor with risk, but could force a close game with strong support on the ground. Due to the odds, I am therefore inclined to a surprisingly close match.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Washington Commanders Prediction, 04.01.2026 Prediction
Two weeks ago, Philly won by eleven points against Washington, although Marcus Mariota started and did not finish the game. This time, Mariota is likely to be missing completely, while the Eagles will probably rest Jalen Hurts and many starters.
So it won’t be a real QB spectacle. My trust is clearly in Defensive Coordinator Vic Fangio. His defense has been the best in the league since Week 10, allowing only 14.5 points per game and forcing at least one turnover for eight games in a row.
Even with backups, Fangio knows how to stay stable. I don’t see this defense collapsing against an already weakening Commanders offense with a 39-year-old QB of medium quality.
My tip: Eagles -4 at Winamax.
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Baltimore Ravens Betting, 05/01/2026 Prediction
What a conclusion to the 2025 regular season: This “hate duel” will decide the AFC North title and the No. 4 seed. One moves into the playoffs, the other suffers a bitter defeat.
I’m betting on Baltimore – especially because the host DK is missing Metcalf. Without his best wide receiver, Aaron Rodgers has looked significantly limited recently – not for the first time when DK Metcalf has been missing!
If Arthur Smith plays the running game perfectly and Lamar Jackson has teething problems after his injury, then Pittsburgh could benefit from it and contribute to a close match.
Nevertheless, I assume that Baltimore will have the upper hand in the end!
