Preparations for the second half of the season begin in Norderstedt without central defender André Wallenborn. The 30-year-old informed the team before the start of training on Monday that he would end his career with immediate effect after three and a half years and 75 competitive games in Norderstedt. “A short-term job change severely limits my flexibility in terms of time and my capacities. This decision was anything but easy for me, but it is unavoidable in view of the necessary commitment in the regional league,” said Wallenborn.
