I have already been able to recommend some successful Oilers Panthers tips in this series. My previous predictions are also similar in content because the Floridians always seem to win according to the same pattern.
The Canadiens certainly don’t know how to put a stop to their lively hustle and bustle. Edmonton continues to fire more shots on goal, but still finds it difficult to overcome Bobrovsky.
And the dreaded power play doesn’t ignite either. Now the Oilers are even in danger of a history-making sweep
The Panthers keep finding ways to capitalize on the Canadiens’ mistakes.
In any case, they are now just one step away from a historic sweep over the Oilers after the 3-0 opening win, the subsequent 4-1 victory and the most recent 4-3 win at the Maple Leafs.
It would be the first time since the 1998 Stanley Cup Final that one team has defeated the other without losing a single game.
What is doubly bitter from the Oilers’ point of view is that they have almost always had a majority of shots on goal so far in this series, but have not been able to successfully convert this into a “W” once. One of the reasons for this is the opposing goalie Bobrovsky
Sergei Bobrovsky’s performance continues to make the difference!
Despite allowing three or more goals for just the first time since Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the Russian was once again outstanding in goal for the Panthers on Thursday and arguably the main reason they are one win away from winning the Stanley Cup.
In Game 3, Bobrovsky stopped 32 shots and helped the Panthers survive three Oilers overtime situations.
At the same time, he kept the Canadiens’ superstars in check and thwarted several big chances by Connor McDavid (five shots) and Leon Draisaitl (three shots), both of which remained scoreless.
What a record: The Panthers’ goalie has allowed just four goals in three games and saved 82 of 86 shots by the Oilers
The Oilers employed the fourth-best power play unit in the entire NHL during the regular season and were even the best team in the competition during the playoffs up to the Stanley Cup Final.
However, since running into the tough defense of the Panthers and Bobrovsky, their power play has gone silent. And it’s this development that baffles many hockey experts!
In Game 3, they again failed to score on three overtime chances and only scored six times on the visitors’ goal in the final period.
Watch out: With a record of 0 out of 10 overtime situations in the series, the Oilers face an almost impossible task, as they just can’t seem to capitalize on their PP chances against the Floridians.
The good Lord punishes small sins immediately, just like the Panthers. The Floridians rely on their ability to capitalize on opportunities, and that paid off again in Game 3. All four goals were the result of mistakes by the Oilers.
Sam Reinhart opened the scoring in the first period after a mistake by Evan Bouchard in the Oilers zone. But the decisive factor in the Panthers’ victory was the second period, in which they benefited from three blunders by the Oilers.
Vladimir Tarasenko, Sam Bennett and captain Aleksander Barkov scored within 10:48 minutes to turn a 1-1 tie into a comfortable 4-1 lead for Florida before the start of the final period.

Conclusion: The Panthers are on the verge of winning the Stanley Cup, mainly thanks to Sergei Bobrovsky’s spectacular saves.
At the same time, the Canadiens have made numerous mistakes so far, which the Panthers have almost always capitalized on.
In addition, the Oilers’ dreaded power play has not yet been able to develop the desired punch, which considerably reduces their chances of a successful turnaround.
All in all, there is much to suggest that the Panthers will use these advantages in Game 4 to secure a decisive victory to win the title.
