When is Oktagon MMA again?
The next Oktagon MMA Event 2024 will take place on Saturday, December 7th in Munich at SAP Garden. It starts at 18:00, the broadcast is available in the livestream on DAZN.
The heavyweight title fight is scheduled for Octagon 64 – between reigning champion Hatef Moeil and challenger Lazar Todev, who is ranked No. 1 in the heavyweight rankings.
Moeil, 38-year-old German, is undefeated for six years or eleven fights (record: 15-4-). His first duel with Todev, which he won by decision of the judges, also took place during this period.
Todev (professional record: 11-6-0) still considers himself the winner of the first duel, as he was able to inflict significantly more damage. Can the Bulgarian now return the favor and take the title?
In addition to Moiel vs. Todev, there is another title fight on the agenda at Oktagon 64: Kaik Brito vs. Ion Surdu for the welterweight crown
Last event of the year on December 29 in Prague
The last of the Oktagon MMA Events 2024 will take place on December 29 in Prague (Czech Republic), in the O2 Arena.
At Oktagon 65 there will be two title fights at the end of the year. Firstly, Ronald Paradeiser vs. Losene Keita for the lightweight throne and secondly, Lucia Szabova and Lucie Pudilova will fight for the women’s bantamweight crown.
In Paradeiser vs. Keita, the reigning lightweight champion (Paradeiser) and the current featherweight champion (Keita) will meet. However, only the 27-year-old Slovakian’s lightweight belt is at stake.
This duel took place once before in 2022 – Keita won back then. If the 26-year-old Belgian wins again, he will be double champion – at featherweight and lightweight!
The second title fight at Oktagon 66 will be the biggest women’s fight the local scene has ever seen.
Lucia Szabova, who has won all eight of her MMA fights to date, duels Czech MMA icon Lucie Pudilova for the bantamweight crown. Pudilova has a professional record of 15 wins and 10 defeats.
The third highlight of the Oktagon MMA Events 2024 season finale is the “Tipsport Gamechanger Reserve” in which Mateusz Ligerski from Poland and Agy Sardari from the Netherlands will fight for the “European MMA Champions League” title.
Oktagon MMA Events 2025: Season opener in Düsseldorf
The list of Oktagon MMA Events 2025 begins on February 1, 2025 in Düsseldorf.
Oktagon 66 will be the first MMA event to take place in the PSD Bank Dome in the Rhineland banking metropolis. It starts at 18:00 and will be broadcast live on DAZN.
It is not yet known what the fight card for Oktagon 66 will look like and which fights will take place.

Oktagon MMA Events – how does the Oktagon MMA League work?
The Oktagon MMA League is one of the up-and-coming organizations in the field of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) in Europe. It was founded in 2016 by Pavol Neruda and Ondřej Novotný.
Its headquarters are located in Bratislava, Slovakia. The founders’ aim was to create a platform for European fighters and to make MMA more popular in the region.
Initially, Oktagon MMA events were mainly held in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, but the event radius quickly expanded to other Central European countries, especially Germany.
The Oktagon MMA events quickly made a good name for themselves. The league is known for its well-organized shows and promotion of local talent.
Over the years, the Oktagon MMA league has produced many MMA stars and is a stepping stone for many who want to enter the international scene – such as the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), which is considered the “premier class of MMA”.
What weight classes are there?
Similar to most major MMA organizations, Oktagon has multiple weight classes. This allows fighters to compete in categories that match their body weight and ensure fair competition.
Typical men’s weight classes in the Oktagon MMA League include:
- Flyweight (up to 56.7 kg)
- Bantamweight (up to 61.2 kg)
- Featherweight (up to 65.8 kg)
- Lightweight (up to 70.3 kg)
- Welterweight (up to 77.1 kg)
- Middleweight (up to 83, 9 kg)
- Semi Heavyweight (up to 93.0 kg)
- Heavyweight (up to 120.2 kg)
This division allows for a variety of fighters and fighting styles to be showcased and makes for exciting match-ups in each weight class.
In each weight class there is a title holder (“champion”) and then a ranking from 1st to 10th place. The fighters can improve or deteriorate with victories or defeats.
Octagon MMA events for women take place in three weight classes. These are bantamweight, flyweight and strawweight.
Octagon MMA events: broadcast in Germany
The broadcasting of Octagon MMA events in Germany has increased in recent years, which is proof of the league’s growing popularity. Oktagon MMA events are shown live on the paid sports streaming service DAZN.
Oktagon MMA events are also broadcast on the in-house platform oktagon.tv. A paid subscription is also required for this.
