VfB Stuttgart and Sebastian Hoeneß have agreed to an early one-year extension of his contract. The contract of the 42-year-old coach, who has been coaching the Swabians since the beginning of April 2023, now runs until the summer of 2028. According to information from kicker, the new contract does not include an escape clause, which was still part of the old contract. That clause stipulated that Hoeneß could have left the club for around eight million euros.
