How focused will the Blancos be on Saturday for the league game? After all, the game takes place in the middle of the matches against Manchester City in the absolute clash of the Champions League giants. The Whites have created a good starting position for themselves in that game, winning 3-2 at the Skyblues.
In my Osasuna Real Madrid betting tip, I expect there to be a few minutes of rest for Kylian Mbappé, Vinicius Junior and Co., who have been on the pitch for many minutes recently.
At Betway, I have put together the odds in the betting configurator in such a way that I predict one goal per half. The actual outcome doesn’t matter!
The Champions League first leg between Manchester City and Real Madrid was a tough one. Pep Guardiola’s team took the lead twice. The record winners of the tournament played the final chord. After trailing twice, Real finally emerged victorious,
The final score was 3:2. The second leg of this top clash will follow immediately, this Wednesday. The match against Osasuna is only the sideline. Because the Champions League also has the highest priority for the Spanish teams.
Despite the importance of the second leg, the bookmakers expect an away win for Real Madrid. With the current level of play, there is no other option. The odds of 1.61 are as I expected.
I spotted 5.50 for Osasuna in the Bet365 app, and 5.50 for a draw. Incidentally, you can get a very attractive new customer bonus from Bet365, the official betting partner of the Champions League, with the code “VIPANGEBOT”.
Of course, it goes without saying that Real will not give the game against Osasuna away. But given the strain of the away trip this week and the reunion with the Premier League champions that follows immediately, we cannot expect Real Madrid to be at 100 percent on Saturday.
On the one hand, I expect the star players to be rested in the form of earlier substitutions, and we may not see any of them on the bench until the kick-off. All in all, I expect Real to try to take control of the match early on.
Therefore, I expect a goal in the first half this time, but we only get a 1.28. However, combo ticket fans are well equipped with the odds. If we choose the bet that Madrid will score a goal in the first 45 minutes, it will be a 1.57.
However, I want to cover both teams in the away game. Osasuna may not be one of the big offensive powers in the league, but they have been scoring quite reliably in recent weeks.
Therefore, I simply added a goal in the second half to the goal in the first half and we are already in a more attractive range. The home games of the four-time Spanish second division champions have been tough, with 37 goals scored in 12 games.
Osasuna have scored 75 percent of their goals at home and only lost a total of two out of twelve matches. It won’t be a walk in the park for the mega stars of Real Madrid, who came away empty-handed from their last away game against newly promoted Espanyol Barcelona.
While I expect a brave Real from the start, I see Osasuna’s chances especially in the second half, when Real has to make some substitutions and some players will have slightly heavier legs in what is already their 14th match of the year.
By comparison, Osasuna have only played eight games so far. And Carlo Ancelotti has few alternatives in defense. After all, all three central defenders, David Alaba, Antonio Rüdiger and Eder Militao, are injured.
Daniel Carvajal and Lucas Vazquez are also unavailable.
In addition to the goal in both halves, I think both teams scoring on Saturday is a very hot tip. Our best betting providers are offering odds of around 1.70 in this market. And Osasuna has scored in four league games in a row.
Three of those matches ended 1-1, against Rayo Vallecano, Las Palmas and Mallorca. In between, there was a home win against Real Sociedad (2-1). However, San Sebastian was able to get revenge in the cup game (2-0). If we dare to take a further look, Club Atletico has scored at least once in eleven of the last 14 competitive games. In the first leg against Real, however, it was not to be, as Vicente Moreno’s team went down 0-4.
At least things looked a little better at home in the last match, which ended in a 2-4 defeat. Incidentally, we saw a goal in each half in six of the last seven meetings. Real have also kept a clean sheet in only two of their last seven games in Osasuna.
Conclusion: Between the games against Manchester City, I definitely think the Real odds are too hot. I expect rotations, before or early during the match, and fresher hosts who have not had an English week in Manchester.
Overall, Osasuna has played five fewer games in the young year 2025. In addition, Real can hardly rotate on the defensive side due to many absences without suffering a drastic drop in quality.
The goal of both teams is a top rate, but due to the playing strength of the Madrileneans, I think it’s a bit too hot in the end.
Ultimately, I expect the Whites to want to wrap up the game quickly in order to manage the pressure, and we should see a major comeback from the underdogs and more space for the Blancos in the second half!
Therefore, my Osasuna Real Madrid betting tip is: Goal in each half!
