Omar Rahimic is the name of the first winter signing of 1. The 18-year-old midfielder comes from Czech third division club Slovan Velvary and has signed a contract in Lübeck until 2027. Sporting director and managing director Frank Salomon explains: “Omar Rahimic is a great talent with a lot of potential. He has proven that in the training sessions he has already completed with us. We see him as a player who cannot only be important for our club in the long term.” Rahimic knows: “I am aware that this is only the beginning of a journey on which I will do everything I can in every training session and in every game to repay this trust.”
