Portugal – Armenia Tip World Cup Qualifiers, Group F, Matchday 10, 16/11/2025 at 15:00 CET
On the last matchday of the World Cup qualifiers, the starting position in Group F is not particularly complicated. With a win against outsiders Armenia, Portugal will qualify for the 2026 World Cup in any case.
After the surprising defeat against Ireland (0-2), the Portuguese not only want to win against the bottom of the table, but also deliver a really convincing performance.
Accordingly, in my Portugal Armenia tip, I target the combination “Win Portugal to nil & Portugal over 1.5 goals” at Interwetten at odds around 1.70. The 5-0 win in the first leg sets the direction.
Portugal vs. Armenia AI Predictions:
Even on the last matchday of the World Cup qualifiers, our AI model is working overtime and presents you with its very own Portugal Armenia AI prediction.
With the first tip, the digital brain plays it safe and suggests the bet “Both teams will score – no”. The odds in the Interwetten app are around 1.50 in a still acceptable range.
Predicted chance of winning:
| Victory Portugal |
Draw |
Victory Armenia |
| 96% |
3% |
1% |
The fact is that the Armenians have lost four of the previous five qualifying games without scoring a goal of their own. The only two goals came in the surprising 2-1 win against Ireland.
The second selection of AI is also useful. “Victory Portugal with handicap -2” brings it to a solid odds of about 1.65 at Bet365 Germany. This is where the special starting position plays a role.
After all, Portugal should do everything they can to make the defeat against Ireland forgotten with a clear victory against Armenia. The fact that at the same time the group victory would be sealed completes the picture.
The third tip is on a player bet. “Concalo Ramos scores” at odds of around 1.53 also makes sense because Cristiano Ronaldo was sent off against Ireland and is now condemned to watch against Armenia. Others must therefore be responsible for the goals in the last group game.
What you need to know about Portugal vs. Armenia betting
- Portugal’s defeat against Ireland was the first in the current World Cup qualifiers. The 27 shots and an expected goals value of 2.66 were not enough to put Roberto Martínez’s team on the scoreboard.
- Armenia have scored just two goals in their first five qualifying matches. However, these two goals were scored in the 2-1 home win against Ireland.
- For Portugal, an Asian handicap of -2.5 has been set. Even before the duel in Armenia in September, Portugal started with the same handicap of -2.5. The subsequent 5-0 indicates that the bookmakers may have misjudged this line.
- Cristiano Ronaldo saw a red card without a warning for the first time in his international career in the most recent game against Ireland. If Portugal avoid the play-off round, Ronaldo risks a ban from the FIFA World Cup.
