At the end of August, Janne Berner played in the 2nd Bundesliga for the first time, and now he can officially call himself a professional: Hertha BSC gave the 20-year-old full-back a professional contract until 2028 on Tuesday. Berner came to the capital from 1 FC Heidenheim in 2024, and in addition to a second division appearance and one in the DFB Cup, he has so far played in 38 regional league games for the Old Lady.
