Tobias Sippel has been with Borussia Mönchengladbach since 2015 and the goalkeeper will continue to be in the Foals’ squad beyond the season. The Bundesliga club has agreed with the 38-year-old, who “in addition to his role as youth goalkeeper coach is also planned as the back-up keeper of the first team”, on an extension of the contract until the summer of 2027. “Tobi is a real asset to our squad and our dressing room as a character, but also as a goalkeeper on and off the pitch,” explained sporting director Rouven Schröder.
