David Alaba still has a contract with Real Madrid valid until the summer of 2026. Due to a cruciate ligament rupture, the Austrian missed an enormous number of games, but is now on the road to recovery. However, Alaba is still a long way off his top form. As “Bernabeu Digital” reports, Real are now said to be willing to let the defender go as early as next summer for comparatively little money, in order to save on his hefty salary of over €20 million per year. However, the 32-year-old is not to be pushed into a move.
