One of the worst seasons in history lies behind Besiktas, at times the fans didn’t even want to watch anymore. Things are set to get better in 2024/25 and there will be no excuses early on when the new season kicks off on Sunday.
The Black Eagles have to kick off their campaign away from home. Why am I expecting a successful kick-off and why do I think the Supercup is one of the reasons? I’ll explain that in detail in my Samsunspor Besiktas betting tip and also reveal what makes me bet DC X2 & Over 1.5 goals

2023/24 had only won two of their first five games, and that rate must be higher this time around. Six wins in 19 away games, 23:28 goals? No, away games really weren’t the team’s favorite discipline.
But now a new era is about to begin. Have Besiktas taken a look at how their opponents played their home games last season? Because that was extremely successful
Samsunspor, who were only promoted in 2023, were the worst away team, but only lost four times at home and had the third-best defense with 17 goals conceded. Logically, the fans hope that this strength will continue.
1:2 and 1:1, in the last season both duels against Besiktas were very close, but unfortunately not particularly successful. And so, of course, the bookmakers are also finding it difficult to give Samsunspor the role of favorites despite their home advantage.

How strong is Besiktas this season, are they a serious title contender? The 5-0 win over Galatasaray in the Super Cup naturally caused a stir and showed how much they have improved under Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
The new signings seem to be a perfect fit and Samsunspor are not the toughest opponents. The home side were quite strong at home in 2023/24, which is why I’m a little more cautious with the double chance X2.
Since Besiktas were very offensive in the Super Cup, I can well imagine that we’ll see a goal or two. All in all, my tip is therefore:
Besiktas will score over 1.5 goals!
