According to media reports, second division club Schalke 04 is close to signing striker Pape Meissa Ba. The 27-year-old is currently still playing in Ligue 2 for Grenoble Foot, where he has contributed ten goals in 18 games this season. His contract with the French club would have expired in the summer anyway, but Schalke is already reacting to the injury of Emil Höjlund, who will be out for “several weeks” again.
