Frank Schmidt is on the sidelines at least eight more times at 1. However, what will happen to the 52-year-old after the season is completely open at this point. The perennial coach, who took over “his” FCH in September 2007 (!) and sensationally led it to the top flight, still has a contract until 2027, and the current Bundesliga bottom also wants to go to the 2nd division with him – but this is far from certain.
