Following Sandro Wagner’s announcement that he is leaving the German national team, there are initial reports of a possible successor. Alfred Schreuder (52) is said to be a candidate for the position of assistant coach to Julian Nagelsmann. The Dutchman previously worked at TSG Hoffenheim under the current national team coach. Schreuder is currently still under contract with Al-Nasr in the United Arab Emirates, but according to Dutch media reports, he intends to leave the club at the end of the season.
