The eventful Thursday continued at SV Sandhausen. Shortly after 6 p.m., the third division relegation side announced the signing of Niklas Tarnat. The 27-year-old central midfielder joins from future league rivals SGV Freiberg, having previously played for Hannover 96 in the second division and gaining third division experience with Rot-Weiss Essen and TSV 1860 Munich. “His calmness on the ball and his eye for the game will give us confidence, especially in difficult phases of the game,” believes Sandhausen’s new coach Olaf Janßen.
