Indian Wells 2025 participants: seeding list & favorites with betting odds

The ATP Masters Indian Wells 2025 will feature the entire world elite – almost: World number one Jannik Sinner is missing, he is serving his strange doping ban.

Sinner’s absence means that Alexander Zverev, currently number 2 in the ATP world rankings, is number 1 on the Indian Wells 2025 seeding list. World No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz is seeded at No. 2.

Who will win the Indian Wells Masters 2025?

Alexander Zverev and Carlos Alcaraz are among the favorites for Indian Wells 2025 based on their world rankings. However, both have not exactly been in top form recently.

Zverev lost his opening match in Acapulco against US teenager Learner Tien and also previously failed to reach the quarter-finals of the ATP500 tournament in Rio. Alcaraz, on the other hand, last played at the ATP500 tournament in Doha and only reached the quarter-finals there.

But: Alcaraz obviously feels very comfortable in the Californian desert – he won the tournament both last year and in 2023.

Djokovic, Medvedev & Co.: The other title contenders

After the top duo of Zverev and Alcaraz, the list of Indian Wells 2025 participants and favorites to win the tournament is quite long.

According to the current positions in the ATP world rankings, Taylor Fritz (USA/world no. 4), Caspar Ruud (NOR/ATP no. 5) and Russia’s Daniil Medvedev, ranked sixth in the world and last year’s finalist, also have a good chance of winning the tournament.

Novak Djokovic is only ranked 7th in the world.

The Serbian former champion has already won five times in Indian Wells and is therefore, together with Roger Federer, the record winner of this tournament. If he wins the title this year, he would be the sole number 1 on the leaderboard.

In the Indian Wells 2025 betting and odds of the bookmakers with a German license, Djokovic is not among the favourites in the run-up to the tournament. There is also a question mark over his form. He has only played one tournament since he had to retire from both Australian Opens in the semi-finals due to injury. In Doha, however, he had to retire again at the start.

Holger Rune could also be back on the Indian Wells 2025 schedule for a little longer. The Dane reached the quarter-finals last year.

Alex de Minaur (AUS), Grigor Dimitrov (BUL) and Andrey Rublev (RUS) are three other favorites to win the tournament.

The Americans should also not be underestimated at the first Masters tournament of the year. Tommy Paul (ATP No. 10) reached the semi-finals last year, while Ben Shelton and Frances Tiafoe are also always good for a run in the late stages of the tournament – especially in front of a home crowd.

The two semi-finalists will be rewarded with 400 world ranking points and prize money of $354,850. The quarter-final brings 200 points for the ATP ranking and $ 202,000 to the bank account.

The Masters tournament, which features 96 players in the main event, rewards everyone from the 1st round onwards. Each player receives 10 points and $ 25,375 for participating in the main event. 37,650 dollars and 30 ATP world ranking points are awarded for reaching the second round
