Masters Toronto 2025 Participants: Seedings & Favorites with Betting Odds

Four top 10 players are missing from the list of Masters Toronto participants – including the number 1 and 2!

Jannik Sinner has canceled, as has Carlos Alcaraz. The top duo are not fit enough after the exertions of the past few weeks. Novak Djokovic (four-time champion at the Canada Masters and ATP No. 6) and Jack Draper (No. 5 in the world rankings) have also withdrawn due to injury.

This means that Alexander Zverev, ranked third in the world, is now number 1 on the Toronto Masters 2025 seedings list.

With four top 10 players missing – including Sinner and Alcaraz, who were in the final of the last two Grand Slam events – it is anything but easy to predict the outcome of the Masters Toronto in advance. The field is wide open. There are many favorites for the title.

Based on his ranking, Zverev is one of the ATP Toronto favorites for 2025. Germany’s best tennis player recently trained with Rafael Nadal and his uncle Toni in Mallorca.

For Zverev, the Canada Masters could be a new beginning.

However, all the other players will want to take advantage of the absence of Sinner, Alcaraz and Djokovic to win this Masters 1000 event.
