Jarry has been something of a phenomenon this year. In Rome, he blew away the world’s elite, only just missing out on the title, and then he disappeared into nowhere. He had a long losing streak, losing 11 of 12 matches before his tournament in Stockholm.
There he first defeated wildcard Elias Ymer and now faces Kecmanovic, whom he defeated in Melbourne last year. This time the Serb is the favorite, who played a strong game against Norrie, but has also not had the best tennis phase of his career recently.
