It is currently uncertain whether Ilkay Gündogan will also play for Manchester City in the coming season. At least coach Pep Guardiola confirmed on Sunday that the 34-year-old’s contract has been automatically extended. Thanks to a clause, Gündogan’s contract is now valid until June 2026.
