Düsseldorf coach Daniel Thioune is only tied to the Rhine until the end of the 2024/25 season. Negotiations are therefore underway regarding an extension. Fortuna’s coach, who has been on the Düsseldorf bench since February 2022, has entered into negotiations with his advisor this time with an exit clause. The parties have apparently come closer in the meantime and the new contract is expected to be signed shortly
