Xhaka, Granit
– Bayer 04 Leverkusen
+ AFC Sunderland
Granit Xhaka has informed Bayer 04 of his desire to leave the club, as his agent José Noguera recently made clear. Leverkusen coach Erik ten Hag has a clear opinion on the matter. “Granit is a leader. He signed here for five years and still has three years left. He is too important for us to let him go,“ said the Dutchman. However, managing director Simon Rolfes continues to say that a transfer will only happen if a ”win-win situation“ arises, emphasizing: ”If something changes, it will only be if all sides can agree.”
