Tottenham – Nottingham Tip, Prediction & Odds 21.04.2025

Premier League, Monday, 21.04.2025 at 21:00

Can the Spurs secure a victory? Their upcoming opponent has recently shown nerves in the battle for Champions League spots, losing two games in a row. Tottenham, on the other hand, secured their place in the Europa League semi-finals last Thursday.

In my Tottenham Nottingham tip, I had a bet in mind and I’m confident that it’s still within a decent odds range. But I’m not surprised, because Winamax has some of the highest odds anyway, including for both teams to score on Monday!

I was once in a WhatsApp group with other sports betting enthusiasts who didn’t place any bets on Monday. True to the motto “Mad Monday,” they felt that there were a lot of strange results at the start of the week.

As the 1X2 market already shows, it should be a pretty heated match with both teams having their chances. Tottenham’s success (2.55) is considered almost as realistic as Forest’s (2.60).

Meanwhile, the odds for a draw are 3.65. However, Winamax users see advantages for the visitors. 63 percent have opted for an away win, just 14 percent for Tottenham and 19 percent have predicted a draw.

It’s a great feature on Winamax that we can see how the community assesses the situation. And I can totally understand the tendency towards the fifth-placed team.

After all, Tottenham have nothing left to play for in the Premier League except self-confidence for the Europa League.

Sure, the English top flight is considered the most prestigious competition, but this season they can’t even finish in the top half of the table and they’re already safe from relegation.

The focus is on winning the Europa League. Then the North Londoners would still qualify for the Champions League. The chances are good. The Spurs are clear favorites against Bodö/Glimt in the semifinals, and then they have to win the final.

Manchester United are hoping for the same thing, by the way, as the Red Devils are also stuck in the lower half of the table. Tottenham’s offense is not to blame for their lack of success this season. With 60 goals, Heung-Min Son has scored the fourth most.

However, they also conceded 49 goals, which is simply too many to seriously challenge for the top spot. But I don’t expect them to just give up on the last few games. It’s about maintaining form and finishing the league season on a high note.

For the double chance odds, I would definitely go for “X2,” which still offers nice odds of 1.52. If we mix the odds with both teams scoring, we get 2.20. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to take the “X2.”

I can’t imagine that Spurs won’t strike at home after their Europa League success.

The reason I’m sticking with an isolated “both teams to score” bet is because of the Tricky Trees’ recent performances. A 1-2 defeat to Aston Villa followed by a 0-1 loss to Everton. Two games in which their opponents had some really good chances.

Ahead of Nottingham’s 33rd game, Aston Villa are one place behind them with the same number of points. Chelsea are also putting the pressure on. That’s why three points on Monday are particularly important, especially as they could move up to third place, given that Newcastle lost to the Villans.

Did you know that the odds at Winamax are free of betting taxes? My personal highlight at the official partner of VfB Stuttgart is still the new customer bonus.

You will receive $100 in free bet credit when you deposit the corresponding amount on your first deposit.

You can distribute the free bets in any amount across different bets and withdraw your winnings directly, and there is no catch with the real money you deposit. No difficult 2.00 odds requirement is necessary; you only have to bet it once at a measly 1.05 to be able to withdraw it again.

Those who bet more frequently at Winamax also benefit from rewards such as additional free bets or credit with their accumulated miles.

Finally, I would like to take a look at the first leg between Tottenham and Nottingham. Forest won 1-0, which was a rather fortunate victory given the course of the game, as Tottenham also had a few good chances.

The Spurs won all of the last three matches at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium 3-1. In addition, we saw at least one goal for both teams in the four most recent home games this season.

Conclusion: Yes, there is more at stake for Nottingham. However, I have not been impressed by their recent matches, while Tottenham can play without any pressure. That said, the hosts have only kept a clean sheet against Frankfurt after ten games in which they conceded at least one goal.

And that was really lucky, as SGE had several good chances and should have scored at least one or two goals.

I’m not convinced they’ll keep a second clean sheet in a row, and I expect the Tricky Trees to improve their performance anyway. But beware of the fourth-best offense in the league, which will come up against a recently fragile defense from the Champions League contenders!

My Tottenham Nottingham prediction is therefore: Both teams to score!
