Tottenham – Sunderland Tip Premier League, Matchday 20 on Sunday, 04/01/26 at 16:00 CET
After finishing 17th last season, not everything is going according to plan for the Spurs in the Premiere League this season either.
Spurs still have one or two options for the top, but Tottenham would have to stabilize quite urgently for long-term leaps in the table, especially in their home stadium.
However, with Sunderland, a team returned to the top flight at the beginning of this season that can involuntarily help the Londoners in this mission.
Since the Black Cats are traditionally one of the most reliable point suppliers for the hosts, I simply opted for the “Tip 1” for the football bet resulting from the Tottenham Sunderland prediction.
Tottenham vs Sunderland AI predictions:
While my prediction is already aimed at the likely winner of the match, the largely uneventful New Year’s performances of both teams made an impression on our in-house AI model.
After both the Spurs and the Black Cats duelled completely goalless with their respective opponents on Friday, the Tottenham Sunderland AI tip sets itself to Under 2.5 goals.
At a decent odds of around 1.80 at the German bookmakers, I also have no objection to this recommendation at all – especially since Sunderland only scores away from home in absolutely exceptional cases anyway.
Predicted chance of winning:
| Win Tottenham |
Draw |
Victory Sunderland |
| 52.1% |
26.5% |
21.4% |
In view of the Black Cats’ only four goals scored in nine games away from home, our AI is also inspired to give Spurs a clean sheet victory – an interesting odd of 2.85.
The latest zero numbers apparently do not let go of our AI even in the following forecast. If it is actually 0:0 at half-time as announced, the betting providers will loosen the approximately 2.7 times the stake without taxes.
If not in terms of the spectacle factor, last but not least, at least in terms of ratings, the result tip goes up a good bit. The expected 1-0 point landing of the Spurs is currently quoted at around 6.75.
