Feyenoord Rotterdam, a Champions League round of 16 contender, has found a new coach. As the Dutch Cup winner and current third-placed team announced on Sunday, Robin van Persie is taking over the coaching role with immediate effect and is leaving league rival Heerenveen in return. Previously, interim coach Pascal Bosschaart had successfully led Feyenoord through the CL play-offs against AC Milan. While van Persie has signed a contract until 2027, assistant coach Henk Brugge will take over as interim manager in Heerenveen.
