In the summer of 2023, goalkeeper Kaua Santos joined Eintracht Frankfurt and signed a contract until 2028. The SGE has now extended that prematurely by two years until June 30, 2030. “Kaua has developed well in recent months and we firmly believe in his potential,” explains SGE sporting director Markus Krösche. The 21-year-old has played six competitive games for the eagles following the injury to first-choice goalkeeper Kevin Trapp, four of them in the Bundesliga.
