Hertha BSC can pat itself on the back for signing Deyovaisio Zeefuik to a new contract for an additional year at a reduced salary before this season: The 26-year-old is delivering as the left link in the back four. If things stay that way, the Berliners will be in a comfortable position. According to information from kicker, Zeefuik’s contract, which runs until June 30, 2025, includes an option for an additional season. The contract will be extended until 2026 if the club is promoted or if Zeefuik plays at least 45 minutes in at least 20 games this season.
