In view of the abundant squad, the prospects for regular professional appearances for Julien Duranville (19) at Borussia Dortmund are slim. Since his move almost three years ago, the attacker simply can’t get a foot on the ground. Again and again, muscle injuries threw the tricky tackler back. Since his comeback at the beginning of November, he has played two games for the second team in the Regionalliga, but real match practice looks different. And so there are currently a lot of indications that the paths will part in winter – at least for the time being. A loan without an option to buy could be the best option for all sides in the future.
