Erik Ahlstrand, who has not yet been considered this season, is leaving FC St. Pauli at his own request and will join Dutch first division club Heracles Almelo in the second half of the season. In addition, the Dutch have an option to buy the Swede. Ahlstrand moved from Sweden to the Millerntor in January 2024, but was never able to assert himself in the first team. Only five appearances in the Bundesliga and one in the DFB Cup have been made. The 24-year-old midfielder is now making a new start in the Eredivisie.
