Wolverhampton – Fulham betting tip, prediction & odds 25/02/2025

Premier League, Tuesday 25/02/2025 at 20:30

The Fulham players strolled off the pitch disappointed after their last Premier League game. The Cottagers had lost 2-0 to Crystal Palace in a one-sided encounter, conceding just 0.20 expected goals over the course of the game.

Wolverhampton were at the other end of the emotional scale following the last PL matchday, celebrating an unexpected 1-0 win over Bournemouth.

For the Wolverhampton Fulham betting tip, I interpret this as follows. “Under 2.5 goals” with odds of 1.88 at Winamax.

The bookmakers advise us with their odds to refrain from a three-way bet. Wolverhampton have built up positive momentum of late and, with odds of just under 2.90 to win, threaten the visitors’ role as favorites.

The Cottagers have won both of their previous Premier League away games. The bookmakers are offering odds of around 2.60 for a third away win in a row.

If the odds for a match are so close together, I would always look out for a possible free bet.

For this particular encounter, Wolves would be my favorite. The hosts have not been beaten by the Cottagers in eight PL home games (6S, 2U).

Vitor Pereira has been on the Wolves touchline since December 12, 2024. The Portuguese scored a respectable 1.58 points per game in twelve competitive matches with his new team.

He has also successfully installed a higher pressing style, with which the seventeenth-placed side have recently enjoyed resounding success.

Wolverhampton have won two of their last three PL matches and have not conceded a goal in either of their victories!

Wolves also played their best half under Pereira in the second half against Liverpool (1-2) at Anfield Road. For the first time since data has been recorded, the Reds did not concede a shot in an entire half at their own stadium.

Wolverhampton have only won three games at home, but have won all three without conceding a goal. After the recent strong performances, I’m considering investing my Tipwin bonus in odds of 4.65 for “Wolverhampton to win without conceding a goal”.

The hosts have only stabilized their defence in recent weeks. Fulham are already great against the ball throughout the game.

As an alternative to my Wolverhampton Fulham tip, it’s worth putting some thought into a bet on “Both teams to score: No”. The odds of 2.10 definitely offer value.

Furthermore, both attacking lines are limited. Wolverhampton have scored less than two goals in six of their last seven PL games. Fulham have not scored more than 36.9 expected goals so far this season (12th).

As a suggestion for a player bet, I’ll pull together the recent performances of Matheus Cunha, who is the heart and soul of the Wolves offense.

Cunha has already scored a total of 13 goals this season and has not left the pitch after his previous three appearances before scoring a goal.

The 25-year-old is known for his ability to score out of nothing. His qualities as a long-range shooter are outstanding.

No other professional in the English top flight has scored more goals from distance this season than Cunha (5).

Wolverhampton have won six games this season in the PL – five of them without conceding a goal. Their defense has received a huge boost since the appointment of Vitor Pereira and has hardly been overcome recently.

Fulham bring one of the three strongest expectable defenses in the Premier League to the Molineux Stadium, which really only has to worry about Matheus Cunha.

My Wolverhampton Fulham tip is therefore: There will be less than 2.5 goals scored
