Former French international Benjamin Mendy (30) will play for FC Zurich in the future. As the first division club from Switzerland announced on Tuesday, the left-back is coming to Zurich from FC Lorient and has signed a contract until 2026. Mendy, who won the 2018 World Cup with France and the English league title four times with Manchester City, did not play a single competitive game for Lorient this season – partly due to a legal dispute with ManCity.
