On Friday, 1. FC Heidenheim announced the departure of Denis Thomalla. The 32-year-old is leaving FCH after nine years and is now signing on with AEL Limassol in Cyprus. Since moving to Heidenheim in January 2016, the 32-year-old has played a total of 211 competitive games. His contract, which ran until the summer of 2025, has been terminated.
