Leicester – Arsenal betting tip, prediction & odds 15/02/2025

Premier League, Saturday, 15.02.2025 at 1:30 pm

Three promoted teams in the three bottom places? That sounds a lot like a triple, direct relegation! In Leicester, they don’t want to accept that yet, because as long as at least Wolves are there, there is hope of 17th place.

The Foxes host the runners-up on Saturday. And they are being punished by the bookmakers with double-digit odds. Reason enough for me to pick up on that and tell you in my Leicester Arsenal tip why I have a 0-1 handicap for the guests in mind here!

The big goal for the 2024/25 season: just to stay in the league. Southampton, Ipswich and Leicester started with this plan. The Saints are almost certain to be the first to be relegated, while the other two are at least close to 17th place.

Leicester would have to catch up two points to Wolverhampton, and the next best team is then already nine points away. This is not surprising, after all, the Foxes have only won four times and have already suffered 15 defeats. Eight of their last nine games have been lost, so they are virtually not scoring at all. The only win during this period? A 2-1 win against Tottenham, where Leicester even came from behind.

It was by no means the case that Leicester only lost to top teams during this period. 0-4 against Everton, 0-2 against Fulham or Crystal Palace, 0-3 against Wolves or 0-4 against Newcastle: almost every team was too strong. The team’s own stadium doesn’t really help either, because here are the last four games: no goal scored, two or more goals conceded, the defeats were all really deserved in the end.

Since there have been three consecutive 0-2 defeats recently, I am looking at the options for an accumulator here. At Bet365, this would be doubly profitable, on the one hand, of course, simply because of the strong odds of 7.00.

On the other hand, because some Bet365 credits are waiting for you here. Since the beginning of December, the Foxes have always conceded at least two goals at home. After all, they have only conceded more than two twice.

So maybe keep an eye on the “Under 2.5 goals Arsenal”, which comes at odds of 1.63 at Bet365? In this case, however, the 2-0 result bet would have to be correct, after all, I recommended a handicap to you.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, Leicester fears for Jamie Vardy and Jannik Vestergaard this weekend. Vardy is still immensely important because: of the seven games in which he scored, six were not lost.

Incidentally, the Foxes have scored a measly three goals at home in the first half, but in the second half they scored eight. How did the game against Arsenal end in the first half of the season?

It was lost 2-4, but how unlucky! The underdog equalized from 0-2 before scoring an own goal in minute 90+4 and Kai Havertz put the final lid on it with a counterattack.

They have only lost to Arsenal in six games, five of which had exactly two goals behind them, and twice the proposed 0-2 was also included. The bookmakers are thinking along very similar lines.

They are sending an average 11.0 to 1.25 into the race, so it’s a clear-cut case. Anyone who has looked at our Premier League master bets knows that IF anyone can stand up to Liverpool FC, it’s the Gunners.

Admittedly, with a game in hand, it doesn’t sound particularly motivating to be six points behind, but the season still has some way to run. Last week, however, Arsenal had to deal with a setback.

They were knocked out of the EFL Cup, losing both matches against Newcastle 2-0. In the Premier League, there have only been two defeats this season and lo and behold: one of them was against the Magpies again.

Eight wins and four draws, at home the Londoners are unbeatable. Away from home, there is still some room for improvement, with six wins, four draws and the two defeats.

After conceding goals in nine consecutive matches, they recently managed to win 1-0 against Wolverhampton, finally getting a clean sheet again. Of course, I have to mention the personnel situation: Gabriel Jesus tore his cruciate ligament in January, Bukayo Saka is still out, and now Gabriel Martinelli is also at risk of missing out!

The thing about staying in the league, it’s going to be hard for Leicester! The Foxes have completely lost their form, now almost always lose by a clear margin and hardly score any goals themselves anymore.

So I can confirm without a doubt that Arsenal FC are clearly favored on Saturday. The Gunners are out of the EFL Cup, so now the focus is all the more on the Premier League.

Personally, I think the only option here is a handicap bet. Leicester seem to be completely out of sorts, even at home. That’s why I’m going for the aforementioned handicap tip and saying:

Arsenal win by at least two goals!
