Thomas Keller’s contract with 1. FC Heidenheim would have expired at the end of the current season. On Friday, FCH, who are threatened with relegation, announced the extension with the 25-year-old by three years until the summer of 2028. After a cruciate ligament injury in the fall of 2023, defensive player Keller, who joined Heidenheim from FC Ingolstadt in 2022, made four Bundesliga and two Conference League appearances in the current season.
